The Prince Of Detroit, the legendary internationally renown, LEE ROGERS. The
only artist in Detroit Music history to go up against the great Motown machine
and land in Billboard Magazine's top 100 with 20 singles and with the only
independent company in Detroit in 1960's that was not under Motown's control.
Rogers was the guiding light in stage performances that Marvin Gaye emulated.
Rogers is known for writing Marvin Gaye's "That's The Way Love Is", and the
Players Ball anthem "Love Bandit" among many of his songwriting titles.
